Just to let you all know that the shop will be closed between Friday 12th June and Tuesday 23rd June. Reopening at usual times on Wednesday 24th June. We will be checking emails, booking and comments, so please keep in touch with us during that time, as we would love to hear from you. We are going to beautiful Dunster for our Archery Week, and hope that the weather stays as good as it is today.
How my glass shapes up
All my beads are made with 104 coe glass. I use Effetre, Reichenbach, Double Helix and CIM glass in a range of beautiful colours. Some beads have 99.9% pure silver inclusions.
All beads are annealed in a digitally controlled kiln. This means that the beads are properly annealed which reduces the stresses in the glass. Beads should not crack under normal use when handled carefully. But please remember, they are glass and will break if dropped.
Beads are thoroughly cleaned to ensure that the bead release used on the mandrels is removed and then they are all checked for flaws before being offered for sale. I check them again before they are securely dispatched ensuring that your beads are in perfect condition ready to be made into your unique creations.
I ship worldwide, and am happy to take commissions.
